National Health Council will evaluate public policies for child health promotion

The first plenary meeting of 2018 of the National Health Council was held on January 24, during which the activities to be developed during the current year were discussed and approved.

The meeting took place on the following agenda:

1. General informations;
2. Approval of minutes of the plenary meeting held on 25 October 2017;
3. Approval of the Activity Report for 2017;
4. Activity Plan for 2018.

In addition to the foreseen activities in the Decree-Law establishing the National Health Council, the Council will develop an integrated project to evaluate public policies to promote health and support the well-being of children (0-18 years), in relevant sectors such as Health, Education, Economy, Law and Environment.
